Moringa Seed
What is it?
Moringa is native to south Asia, where it grows in the Himalayan foothills. The leaves and seed pods of the tree are edible and have been considered a nutrient-packed superfood with many health benefits.
How does it help skin?
Moringa contains Vitamin A, C, amino acids and other plant proteins and nutrients, which are important for healthy skin. Moringa seed is commonly used in skin care for its moisturizing properties. Dull skin is a sign of aging skin and pre-mature photoaged skin that can be addressed topically with daily skincare and antioxidants, which are found in Moringa. It helps removes damaging free radicals to return supple, glowing skin.
Did you know?
Moringa has been called “Mother’s Best Friend” and “Miracle-Tree”.
Why did we choose it?
Moringa has as many names around the world as it has uses, from water purification to nutritional supplement. The tree has developed a natural defense mechanism against pests, and this natural defense mechanism (phytochemicals) can help our skin fight off environmental stressors, too!
